LWE Delivery Policy
At Lighting Warehouse & Electrical Ltd. (LWE), we pride ourselves on providing efficient and reliable delivery services to our customers across the UK. Below, we outline our Standard Delivery Service and Next Day Delivery offerings, as well as detailed information about our Delivery Zones.
Delivery Zones Definition
To ensure timely and accurate delivery of your orders, we have defined Zone 1 and Zone 2 for our delivery areas. Please refer to the breakdown below:
Zone 1 covers locations closest to our Glasgow headquarters, including major cities and business districts across the UK mainland. Deliveries to these areas are free of charge for standard services and eligible for next day delivery (subject to order deadlines).
Zone 1 Exceptions:
Please note, deliveries to the following postcodes are exceptions and may require additional delivery time (3–5 working days):
AB, DG, EX, LD, PL, SA20, SY21, TD, TQ, TR
Zone 2 includes more remote or rural areas that are further from our Glasgow base. Deliveries to these areas incur an additional charge and have a longer delivery window.
- Delivery Window: Please allow 3-5 working days for deliveries to Zone 2 locations.

- Free Delivery for Orders Over £1,000: If your order value exceeds £1,000, Zone 2 delivery is free of charge.
Channel Islands (Guernsey & Jersey)
For deliveries to Guernsey and Jersey, products will be delivered to Southampton Port (Zone 1 delivery terms apply). Customers are responsible for arranging collection from Southampton Port for onward transport to the Channel Islands.
Standard Delivery Service
- Free Delivery in Zone 1:
All standard deliveries to business premises in Zone 1 are free of charge. - Delivery Timeframe:
- Orders placed before 4:00 PM (Monday to Friday) will be delivered within 48 hours.
- Orders placed after 4:00 PM will be delivered within 72 hours.
- Delivery Days:
Deliveries are made Monday to Friday only. No deliveries occur on weekends or public holidays.
Notification for Business Hours:
To ensure we deliver when your business is open, please notify our sales team at sales@lweonline.co.uk if your business will be closed on any weekday.
Next Day Delivery Service
We offer Next Day Delivery for business customers located in Zone 1. The following terms apply:
- Order Deadline:
Orders must be placed by 12:00 PM (midday) for next-day delivery. - Available to Zone 1 Only:
This service is available only to customers in Zone 1, which includes areas near Glasgow. - Maximum Order Lines:
This service is limited to a maximum of 10 different product codes per order (multiple quantities of each product code can be ordered). - Delivery Charges (Zone 1):

Notification for Business Hours:

General Terms and Conditions:
- Delivery Areas: All deliveries are based on the delivery zones described above. If you are unsure of which zone your address falls under, please contact us before placing your order.
- Order Confirmation: After you place your order, you will receive an email confirming the delivery timeframe and any charges that may apply.
Failed Deliveries: Please ensure someone is available to accept delivery during business hours. Failed delivery attempts may incur additional charges.
